We are excited to announce that the Village/Town of Mount Kisco has officially approved a local law amendment, expanding the permitted uses in the RDX Research and Development District to include veterinary clinics and hospitals. This amendment, filed as Local Law No. 4 of 2024, now allows veterinary clinics and hospitals with a gross floor area of up to 8,000 square feet. This is a significant step forward in fostering animal care services in the community.
The new regulations ensure that facilities like ours can offer high-quality veterinary care while maintaining the character and integrity of the district. Larger veterinary hospitals exceeding 8,000 square feet may also be established through a special permit process.
