Veterinary Technician
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our animal patients and working collaboratively with our team of veterinarians and support staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with surgeries, examinations, and other procedures
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams
Provide basic nursing care for animal patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering fluids
Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with pet owners regarding their pets’ care
Assist with the training and supervision of veterinary assistants
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program
Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT or LVT)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
