This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating all the incredible moms out there — both human and furry.
Here at Healing Paws Veterinary Center, we’re especially grateful for the amazing moms on our team who spend their days caring for families, pets, patients, and each other with endless compassion and dedication. But this year, we also have a very special mama to celebrate right here in our care.
This sweet foster cat, from our friends at Rock N’ Rescue, has been working around the clock caring for her tiny kittens — keeping them warm, fed, clean, and safe with incredible patience and love. Watching her gently nurture and protect her babies has been a beautiful reminder that motherhood comes in many forms, and every version of it deserves to be celebrated.
Whether it’s a mother comforting a child, a foster stepping in to save vulnerable lives, or a mama cat curled protectively around her kittens, caregiving is built on the same foundation: love, sacrifice, instinct, and devotion.
As a 100% woman-owned and mom-owned veterinary hospital, Mother’s Day holds a special place in our hearts. We know firsthand the strength it takes to care for others while balancing the many roles life asks us to play. It’s part of why we built this hospital — a place centered around compassion, connection, and thoughtful care for both pets and the people who love them.
Today, we celebrate every kind of mom:
